Whether interest and principal construed as different debts under the provision of section 59 of Indian Contract Act? Is Section 59 of Contract Act applicable while paying any principal or interest amounts under the provisions of MCS Act, 1960? If a member pays monthly maintenance due to CHS on time but is not paying a 'disputed amount' which is an arrears of past financial year. Can CHS legally adjust the currently monthly payments made by me against previous years arrears which is disputed by me ?
